Week 1 ๐Ÿ™†

 Assalamualaikum and Hi   ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ’ญ

It has been a while since I'm posting blog entries. I created a new blog for the weekly "Reflective Web Blogging". But no worries, I am not only writing up for the sake of the assignment, but I kinda miss blogging. When I was a high school kid, I was very active in blogging, and I love to blog walking to other blogs :) It was a good time for me. I am now a final year student of Bachelor of Science (Food Studies) at UPM.

Okay, so this is going to be my very first posting about our weekly FSM4401 class.

In our first class, Dr. Fareed briefed us about the learning outcomes of this course and also the related assignments that we need to submit. He also briefed us regarding three segments for the upcoming lab sessions. Here are three segments for each class based on the course outline:

Segment 1: Mini Project Peer Discussion (CIP-UPM Group/Peer Discussion)

Segment 2: Google Digital Garage-GDG; Internet Marketing Skills

Segment 3: Alibaba.com; e-Commerce Skills

Segment 4:Digital Exploration, Experience and Development Skills – DEEDS SESSION – Collaborations with MDEC, MAGIC, SIDEC and etc.

We were also instructed to form a group of four or five members for the group assignments. Next, we need to find three potential small food company businesses to create a website for the CIP UPM assignment. On this project, we need to develop a website for small or medium food companies without any payment. Moreover, I am excited to learn and explore this course because there are a few things I have not heard before such as Google Digital Garage. As Dr. Fareed told us, we can get a certificate from Google after finishing the Google Digital Garage course. This week I have already registered for GDG.. Yay!!๐Ÿ‘ฏ Hence, I think it is a good point to be added to our resume for our future careers. I am looking forward to the upcoming classes :) I hope this course will help me and my friends to gain as much knowledge about Information systems in the food industry.
